The History of Causeway Green Junior School

Originally there were two schools, Causeway Green Junior School and Causeway Green Infant School. The Infant School opened in September 1952 and the headmistress was Miss W. A. Sendell. The Junior school was opened one year later in 1953 and the headmaster was Mr. R. Morrison.

In 1991, the two schools amalgamated and Mr. J. Bills was appointed headteacher. He retired in April 2000.

Mr. A. Wood was then appointed headmaster in Mr. Bills' place on 1st September 2000, a position he still holds.

The school celebrated its Golden Jubilee in 2003. Here's to the next 50 years!
