Uniform at Causeway Green

The Governing Body supports the policy of school uniform at Causeway Green. We feel that it looks smart, gives the children a sense of belonging and saves the problem of "what shall we wear today"!!
The school colours are red, grey, black and white.

  1. Girls:-
    Plain grey skirt or black trousers.
    Summer dresses.
    White blouse.
    Red V neck pullover, cardigan or sweatshirt.
    Plain socks.
    Sensible shoes.

     
  2. Boys:-
    Plain grey/charcoal trousers.
    White/grey shirt.
    Red V neck pullover or sweatshirt.
    Plain socks.
    Sensible shoes.

     
  3. Please note:-
    Denim/corduroy clothes are not allowed.
    Jewellery is not appropriate for the school day. Watches and stud earrings are allowed but need to be removed for P.E. lessons.
    Nail varnish is not allowed.
    No expensive toys are to be brought into school, e.g. walkmans, gameboys, etc.

Physical Education

All children are expected to take part in these lessons and to wear the appropriate clothing.
 

  1. Girls:-
    Shorts/games shirt.
    Leotard.
    Pumps/trainers.
    Socks.

     
  2. Boys:-
    Shorts.
    Tee-shirts (preferably plain).
    Pumps/trainers.
    Socks.
    A jogging top/suit or jumper will be needed for outdoor activities.

     
    If there is any problem with your child's P.E. kit please see the class teacher.
     

    Swimming

    This is part of the curriculum for pupils in years 3-6. Lessons are timetabled for Wednesday afternoons. Please provide swimming trunks/costume, towel, comb and a bag. The pupils travel by coach to Haden Hill Baths where they are taught by qualified staff. The children swim for 5 sessions per term. Swimming awards are presented in assemblies.
